About us
Welcome to a collective space!
We merge woodworking with wellbeing, offering workshops, DIY kits, custom furniture, and therapy, blending expertise in mental health and woodworking for holistic healing and creativity. Join us on our mission to introduce the therapeutic power of woodworking to as many people as we can!
Why we built a collective space
> We are women and LGBTQIA+ makers creating a safe, inclusive space for anybody wanting to try woodworking
> Woodworking is our therapy, creative passion, and our preferred path to resilience
> We wanted a space where other beginners, neurodivergent, and queer folks (like us!) found belonging in Hong Kong
Workshop attendees
Over 80% of participants are women or LGBTQIA+
School programs
We've introduced woodworking to over 500 kids in HK!
A year's worth of private events
From team building, birthdays, to escaping rainy days
A story from a village house rooftop
Picture this: two makers with hand-me-down tools, fixing discarded furniture on a Cheung Chau rooftop as the world locked down. Every repaired table brought a spark of confidence and a sense of possibility. These small victories planted the seeds for our inclusive studio.
Our unique approach
Our plant filled studio in Mui Wo welcomes everyone, of every ability, experience and background.
We specialise in workshops that are not only beginner friendly, but adaptable for different mental and physical abilities.
Emmy's expertise in woodworking and Sne's experience as a therapist combine to create therapeutic craft programs, DIY Kits and so much more for makers anywhere in the world.
You're invited
Woodworking saved us from a dark place. So, regardless of what you're going through or who you are, we hope that you'll give woodworking a chance. Whether you want to try spoon carving, or just be in a woodshop for the first time, please try it out with us!
